0935, 50 mm – PVC-free soft skirting board, 1.3 mm, black

These PVC-free soft skirting boards are self-adhesive and designed for quick and easy installation without the use of
screws or nails. To ensure the best possible adhesion, it is important that the skirting board is left to acclimatise in
the room where it is to be fitted for at least 3 days, and that the room temperature is at least 18°C at
the time of fitting.

The surface must be clean, dry and even, and free from dust, grease and loose plaster. Please note that
self-adhesive mouldings do not achieve optimal adhesion on all surfaces, including woodchip wallpaper,
hessian, wet-scrubbed walls and other uneven surfaces.

When fitting, it is recommended that you remove the protective film as you go along and press the moulding firmly into place with even pressure
. The moulding must not be stretched during fitting. For the best-looking and most durable result
, we recommend mitre-cutting the corners.

How to fit the soft mouldings:

1. Temperature and acclimatisation: Store the moulding for at least 3 days in the room where it is to be fitted. The room must be at least 18 °C and thoroughly heated.
2. Prepare the surface: Ensure that the wall and floor are clean, dry and even. Remove dust and loose plaster. Avoid fitting onto woodchip wallpaper or uneven walls.
3. Acclimatise the skirting board: Unroll the skirting board and leave it to rest for a while. Do not stretch the skirting board during installation.
4. Installation: Remove the backing film a little at a time and press the skirting board firmly into place with even pressure in the direction of installation. Avoid removing the entire protective film in one go.
5. Corners: Cut the moulding at the corners to prevent it from coming loose. If necessary, use extra contact adhesive in the corners.
6. Maintenance: The strip can be cleaned with standard cleaning products and can withstand daily washing.
