PRIMO’s plastic flashing is a practical and attractive solution for finishing around openings and flashings at doors and windows. The trim – also known as a reveal – is made from robust plastic that is not affected by damp, making it particularly suitable for both dry and damp rooms.

The moulding is designed with a 10 mm deep groove that fits the edge of the reveal, ensuring a neat and secure fit.

The frame is fixed in place using mounting adhesive or silicone.

Here’s how:

Cutting
to size
Cut the frame to the required dimensions using a fine-toothed saw to ensure clean and precise cuts.
Preparing the surface
Clean the surface where the frame is to be fitted, removing any dust, grease and loose material.
Applying the adhesive
Use a strong mounting adhesive or alcohol-based silicone and apply an even bead of adhesive to the back of the frame.
Fitting the trim
Press the trim into place so that the edge of the opening aligns with the trim’s 10 mm groove. Hold it in place for a few minutes until the adhesive begins to set – use masking tape for support if necessary.
