The U-profile can either be fixed mechanically with small nails or using a strong mounting adhesive or silicone for an invisible and durable installation.

How to do it:

Cutting
Cut the U-profile to the required lengths using a fine-toothed saw. Take care with the angles at the corners.
Preparing the surface
Ensure that the surface is dry and free from dust, grease and unevenness.
Choice of fastening
method
o For gluing: Apply a suitable amount of alcohol-based silicone or mounting adhesive to the inside of the U-profile.
o For nailing: Use small nails or staples, and drive them carefully through the edge of the profile without damaging the material.
Positioning and pressing
Place the U-profile around the edge of the panel or the opening, and press it firmly into place. If necessary, use masking tape to hold the profile in place until the adhesive has set.
Finishing
Wipe off any excess adhesive with a cloth and spirit. Check that all corners are fitted tightly and neatly.
