When installing plastic side window trim, it is important to ensure precise cuts and proper fastening to achieve a tight and neat finish.

The moldings are trimmed at both the bottom and top to match the window’s dimensions and angles.

Always use stainless steel nails or screws to ensure long-lasting durability.

The side window trim can also be used as top window trim, and installation is performed in the same manner.

Avoid dark colors, as they can cause the plastic to overheat and warp.

Installing the side glass trim:

Cut the bottom at an angle that matches the slope of the bottom glazing trim
Measure from the bottom glass trim to the top of the window and subtract 7 mm to allow for clearance
Cut the top at a 45° bevel
Secure with stainless steel nails or screws every 15 cm and no more than 5 cm from each end

Installation as a top glass trim:

Measure the width for the top glazing bead
Cut both ends at a 45° bevel
Secure with stainless steel nails or screws every 15 cm and no more than 5 cm from each end

NOTE: Painting the plastic moldings in dark colors is not recommended.
