When installing PRIMO’s solid side glass moldings, precise cuts and proper fastening are essential to ensure a tight and neat finish.

The trim pieces are adjusted at both the top and bottom to match the window’s dimensions and angles. To ensure long-lasting durability, it is always recommended to use stainless steel nails or screws.

The side glass trim can also be used as a top glass trim and is installed in the same way.

Installing the side glass trim:

Cut the bottom at an angle that matches the slope of the bottom glass trim
Measure from the bottom glazing strip to the top of the window and subtract 7 mm for clearance
Cut the top at a 45° bevel
Secure with stainless steel nails or screws every 15 cm and no more than 5 cm from each end

Installation as a top glass trim:

Measure the width for the top glazing bead
Cut both ends at a 45° bevel
Secure with stainless steel nails or screws every 15 cm and no more than 5 cm from each end

NOTE: We recommend that plastic moldings not be painted in dark colors.
