The U-strip can be secured either mechanically with small nails or using a strong mounting adhesive or silicone for an invisible and durable installation.

Here’s how:

Cutting
Cut the U-strip to the desired lengths using a fine-toothed saw. Take care with the angles at the corners.
Preparing the Surface
Ensure that the surface is dry and free of dust, grease, and unevenness.
Choosing a Fastening
Method o For gluing: Apply an appropriate amount of alcohol-based silicone or mounting adhesive to the inside of the U-channel.
o For nailing: Use small nails or staples, and drive them gently through the edge of the profile without damaging the material.
Positioning and Pressing
Place the U-strip around the edge of the panel or the opening, and press it firmly into place. If necessary, use painter’s tape to hold the profile in place until the adhesive cures.
Finishing
Wipe off any excess adhesive with a cloth and rubbing alcohol. Check that all corners fit tightly and neatly.
