PRIMO FiberCore glass strips are an energy-efficient and durable solution for both windows and doors.
They are made from an advanced composite that combines natural plant fibers with the strength and maintenance-free properties of plastic.
This means that the glazing beads provide up to 160 times better insulation than aluminum and have a U-value of just 0.18—effectively reducing heat loss around windows and doors.
At the same time, the material is resistant to moisture and weather. It does not absorb water and will not rot, crack, or dry out. This provides a solution that requires minimal maintenance and extends the lifespan of the windows.

PRIMO FiberCore side window trim is installed using the same smart clip system as the bottom trim. This ensures a clean, hidden installation and a durable solution without visible nail holes. Follow the steps below for proper and safe installation:

Remove one trim at a
time Carefully loosen and remove the old side window trim—one at a time—and install the clips immediately to ensure the window does not fall out.
– Place the clips against the glass
. – Secure them in pre-drilled holes with screws driven at an angle into the rebate.
Select the finish type (A or B)—download the instructions below.
The side glass strips can be finished in two ways:
A: Against a continuous top glass strip with a 16° bevel at both ends
B: With a 45° bevel at the top and a 16° bevel at the bottom
Since FiberCore does not absorb water, the strips can be installed directly down to the bottom glass strip.
Prepare for cutting and check the fit
—Clips must be installed on the side and top glass moldings before cutting to ensure a proper miter
—Use 5 clips per meter
—The distance from corners must not exceed 5 cm
. After cutting, place the moldings in the groove to check the fit—without clicking them into place.
Important: Once the moldings are installed, they are difficult to remove.
Snap the trim into place
. Press the glass trim against the clip with light pressure until the snap-in mechanism engages. The glass tape can be moistened with soapy water to make installation easier.
