0500, 5 m – Seal for steel door, white

PRIMO universal weatherstrip for steel frames, fits all standard steel frames with a groove width of 9–11 mm. The weatherstrip is used to replace older weatherstrips that have become worn and no longer function properly. A worn-out weatherstrip is characterized by being leaky, hard, or brittle.

This sealing strip is easy to install. Make sure the surface is clean and dry so the seal can be positioned optimally. Its flexible design allows it to conform to the surface.

NOTE: During installation, the profiles must not be fully compressed, as this will cause the strips to lose their elasticity and, as a result, reduce their sealing performance.

We recommend installing the weatherstripping after painting the window frame. Be sure to observe the paint manufacturer’s drying time.

Here’s how:
1. Thoroughly clean and degrease the surface.
2. Measure and cut the seal to length.
3. Press the seal firmly into the
groove. 4. Check that the entire strip is even and snug.
