Have drafts, noises, and odors become more noticeable in your home? If so, your weatherstripping may need to be replaced. Replacing worn-out weatherstripping makes a big difference—you can save time and money, among other things, since PRIMO’s weatherstripping can last up to 10 years, requires minimal maintenance, and provides a complete seal, which you’ll notice on your heating bill.
This PRIMO weatherstrip fits a groove size of 3–3.5 mm. Once the door and window weatherstrips are installed where the old ones were, you’ll quickly notice a significant difference. By replacing the seals, you’ll reduce nuisances such as noise, drafts, odors, and dust, which previously could circulate more freely in the room.

This weatherstrip is easy to install. Make sure the surface is clean and dry so the weatherstrip can be positioned correctly. Its flexible design allows it to conform to the surface. Install the weatherstrip by pressing it into the groove in the door or window.
NOTE: During installation, the profiles must not be fully compressed, as the strips will otherwise lose their resilience, thereby compromising their sealing performance.
We recommend installing the sealing strips after painting the frame. Be sure to follow the paint manufacturer’s drying time instructions.
Here’s how:
1. Thoroughly clean and degrease the surface.
2. Measure and adjust the length of the seal.
3. Press the seal firmly into the groove
. 5. Check that the entire strip sits evenly and snugly.
Be sure the seal is not completely compressed when the door is closed, as it will lose its resilience over time and compromise the seal’s effectiveness.
