Compressed sealing tape is used for exterior sealing of windows and doors—to protect against driving rain, for example.
The sealing tape can be used both outdoors and indoors to waterproof joints and transitions in window structures and other types of construction. PRIMO’s sealing tape can be used with many different materials, such as wood, metal, plastic, and natural stone.
The tape is resistant to rain, wind, dust, heat, and UV radiation, and its high quality provides thermal and sound insulation that will remain stable for many years to come.

To ensure an effective seal, it is important that the weatherstripping tape is installed correctly. The surface must be clean, dry, and smooth, and the tape must be positioned precisely—about 2 mm from the edge of the window or door. Use a putty knife to press the strip firmly into place, and remember to trim off the first 2 cm before you begin. Always finish with an overlap at the ends for a tight and durable seal.
How to install the trim:
1. Clean the surface thoroughly—it must be clean, dry, and smooth.
2. Cut off the first 2 cm of the sealant tape and discard them.
3. Place the adhesive tape approximately 2 mm from the edge—with the adhesive side facing the window or door.
4. Press the adhesive tape firmly with a putty knife for optimal adhesion.
5. Ensure an overlap of about 10–20 mm at all ends.
6. Check that the joint tape is smooth and free of wrinkles.
