PRIMO universal weatherstrip for steel frames, fits all standard steel frames with a groove of 9–11 mm. The weatherstrip is used to replace older weatherstrips that have worn out and are no longer functional. A worn-out weatherstrip is characterized by being leaky, hard, or brittle.

This weatherstrip is easy to install. Make sure the surface is clean and dry so the weatherstrip can be positioned properly. Its flexible design allows it to conform to the surface.

NOTE: During installation, the profiles must not be fully compressed, as the strips will otherwise lose their resilience, thereby reducing their sealing performance.

We recommend installing the weatherstripping after painting the window frame. Be sure to follow the paint manufacturer’s drying time instructions.

Here’s how:
1. Thoroughly clean and degrease the surface.
2. Measure and trim the seal to the correct length.
3. Press the seal firmly into the
groove. 4. Check that the entire strip is seated evenly and snugly.
