PRIMO universal weatherstrip for steel frames, fits all standard steel frames with a groove of 9–11 mm. The weatherstrip is used to replace older weatherstrips that have become worn and no longer function properly. A worn-out weatherstrip is characterized by being leaky, hard, or brittle.

This weatherstripping is easy to install. Make sure the surface is clean and dry so the weatherstripping can be positioned properly. Its flexible design allows it to conform to the surface.

NOTE: During installation, the profiles must not be fully compressed, as this will cause the strips to lose their elasticity and, as a result, reduce their sealing performance.

We recommend installing the weatherstripping after painting the window frame. Be sure to follow the paint manufacturer’s drying time instructions.

Here’s how:
1. Clean and degrease the surface thoroughly.
2. Measure and cut the seal to the correct length.
3. Press the seal firmly into the
groove. 4. Check that the entire strip is seated evenly and snugly.
