Soft baseboards from PRIMO are self-adhesive and easy to install. For best results, make sure the room is warm enough and that the surface is clean and even. Press the baseboard into place with even pressure, without stretching it, and trim the corners to fit. When installed correctly, you’ll get a beautiful and durable finish—without nails, screws, or caulk.

Here’s how:
1. Temperature and acclimatization: Store the trim for at least 3 days in the room where it will be installed. The room must be at least 18 °C and thoroughly heated.
2. Prepare the surface: Make sure the wall and floor are clean, dry, and even. Remove dust and loose plaster. Avoid installing on wood-chip wallpaper or uneven walls.
3. Prepare the trim: Unroll the trim and let it rest for a while. Do not stretch the trim during installation.
4. Installation: Peel back the backing film a little at a time and press the trim firmly with even pressure in the direction of installation. Avoid removing the entire protective film at once.
5. Corners: Trim the trim in the corners to prevent it from coming loose. Use additional contact adhesive in the corners if necessary.
6. Maintenance: The trim can be cleaned with standard cleaning products and can withstand daily washing.
