Flashings – model 5008, white

Light covers are fitted using screws, nails or glue – depending on the surface and personal preference.

The material does not split when fixed and is easy to cut to size using standard hand tools.

How to do it:

Measuring and cutting
Measure the sides of the window or door opening and transfer the measurements to the flashing. Cut the pieces to size using a fine-toothed saw for clean cuts.
Fitting into the
frame
Insert the flashing into the 10 mm deep groove in PRIMO’s plastic frame and adjust it so that it fits snugly and flush.
Fixing
- For mechanical fixing: Use nails or screws every 30–50 cm – depending on the strength of the substrate and the length of the surface.
- For adhesive installation: Apply an alcohol-based silicone or construction adhesive to the back of the profile and press firmly against the substrate.
Completion and finish
Check that all joints and corners are correctly aligned.
