During installation, cut the profile at a 45-degree angle without cutting into the cord inside the seal. Then install the strip in the corner and press it into the groove.

Most of our clip-on weatherstripping strips also have a rigid backing, which makes installation significantly easier.

Please note that the seal should not be fully compressed when the door or window is closed, as it will lose its flexibility over time and thereby reduce its sealing performance.

Here’s how:

1. Clean the surface.
2. Cut the profile at a 45-degree angle, taking care not to cut into the cord.
3. Install the strip in the corner and press it into the groove.
