Compressed sealing tape is used for exterior sealing of windows and doors—to protect against driving rain, for example.
This elastic sealing tape from PRIMO is made of impregnated foam, which offers high tensile strength. The tape can be used both indoors and outdoors to waterproof joints and transitions in window frames and other types of structures. PRIMO sealing tape can be used with a wide variety of materials, including wood, metal, plastic, and natural stone.
The tape is resistant to rain, wind, dust, heat, and UV radiation, and, thanks to its high quality, provides thermal and sound insulation that will remain effective for many years to come.

To ensure an effective seal, it is important that the sealing strip is installed correctly. The surface must be clean, dry, and smooth, and the adhesive tape must be positioned with precision. Remember to trim the first 2 cm off the strip before you begin, and make sure to overlap the ends to achieve a tight and durable seal.
Here’s how:
1. Clean the surface thoroughly so that it is clean, dry, and smooth.
2. Cut off the first 2 cm of the weatherstripping and discard them.
3. Position the adhesive tape about 2 mm from the edge of the window or door—with the adhesive side facing the frame.
4. Use a putty knife to press the adhesive tape firmly into place all the way along.
5. Ensure a 10–20 mm overlap at both ends to ensure a tight seal.
6. Check that the strip is lying flat and without any creases.
